Julia Brown, a young Scottish actress, began her career in CBBC tween series M.

I. High, and has since worked with Douglas Henshall and Julie Graham in ITV drama Shetland, and Alex Dreymon and Eliza Butterworth in Carnival’s The Last Kingdom. A talented theatre actress, the MGA Academy of Performing Arts graduate has starred in various productions including Footloose, and has won a Governor’s Prize for Drama award. Taking her career to the next level, she's recently been cast opposite Helen Hunt and Lesley Manville in new BBC thriller World on Fire, which tells the story of ordinary people whose lives intertwine during WWI, and is slated to air in 2019.
